The board of Orkla Fellesforvaltning has decided to submit the following rules for 2025:
Season: 1 June – 31 August
Protection: (not open for withdrawal)
All salmon over 65 cm
All Sea trout
Quotas:
Daily quota 1 salmon
Seasonal quota 2 salmon killed
Seasonal quota 20 salmon re-released
Evaluations:
Stock evaluation: After the first 2 weeks (2025: 16 or 17 June)
Mid-season evaluation: After 1 July (2025: 3 or 4 July)
Those proposal for rules for 2025 will be submitted to the Norwegian Environment Agency before the new year. The Norwegian Environment Agency will issue the regulations with the fishing rules for consultation during January 2025. According to the Norwegian Environment Agency, the new regulations will be adopted in the spring.
