June have been a month with upps and downs for salmonfihers of the rivers in the middle part of Norway, the reason seems to be the waterflow which have been low this june. But we have the last days observed that even a slightly rise of waterlevel trigged a lot of salmons running on to the river from the fjord (there are much salmons out there waiting to run on). Today, att our lowest pools, there have been running salmons inside many different times of daytime. Our Danish, German and English guests have had a lot of action, but unfortunately they lost 3 salmons of good size after hard fights. Click here for updated journal
Picture above: Storås pool. Inside regulated area, where the waterflow always will be around 20 m³/s (exept after natural high flows).
