- From Sunshine to rain

Salmon 8,4 kg, Øya 11. june
After one week with blue sky & sunshine and temps up to the 30s/86F (very hot for the fishers on the stoney banks), the weather conditions are changing from today and we got the first raindrops and clouds this season. Hopefully the river will get a little coloured of the rain that are expected the next days. The catches have been poor all river after some good opening days. River water have been crystal clear as snow melting water is, so the salmons that are running fast and deep mid stream is not easy to trick.
Also, the last days there are signs that the medium weight salmons have started theirs
arrival, this will for shure give more showing life on the river surface (and hopefully more action for the rods) inside the coming week!
The water level and temps have been perfect after the opening flow.
Tight lines!

11/6: Status: 7 salmons landed and 8 lost.
